Quasi tutte le opere di espressione artistica hanno almeno due livelli di lettura. Alcune ne hanno anche tre, alcune forse infiniti.

Per stare sul cinema, c’è chi dice che il film Matrix abbia almeno tre livelli di lettura.

Prendiamo per esempio i Blues Brothers, commedia musicale per tutti, stravista, arrivata a ispirare costumi di carnevale degli anni in cui uscì, e forse addirittura Le Iene di Quentin Tarantino, e poi le successive iene televisive.

La mia lettura attuale dei Blues Brothers è la seguente: due amici (o fratelli, forse non si capisce bene) si ritrovano dopo un lungo periodo si separazione (determinato dalla detenzione di uno dei due). Nel momento in cui si ritrovano, la prima cosa da fare è risolvere un problema serio. L’orfanotrofio in cui sono cresciuti è in pericolo per problemi economici. Devono trovare soldi per salvare il mondo della loro infanzia.
Il modo più semplice per recuperare questi fondi, e mettere a frutto la cosa che sanno fare meglio: la musica.
Si pone un nuovo problema: negli anni, il gruppo che suonava con loro, si è sfaldato. Ogni musicista ha preso strade diverse, si è accomodato su consuetudini e necessità quotidiane.
Ma la missione dei fratelli del blues è di ordine superiore: la loro passione risveglia in ciascuno degli ex compagni la motivazione di un tempo, e il gruppo è di nuovo insieme. In mezzo ci si mettono anche le relazioni: la (ex)fidanzata di uno dei due, la moglie di uno dei musicisti, e i malintesi (tipo quando vanno a suonare al posto di un gruppo country). Ma alla fine, la missione è compiuta, mentre -addirittura- stanno per essere braccati dai reparti speciali, proprio quando vanno a consegnare i soldi per riscattare il destino dell’orfanotrofio.

Morale ?

La morale potrebbe essere che “fare bene” si può manifestare in vari modi, e che alcune forme di bene possono a volte richiedere il cambiamento di assetti ed equilibri consolidati (su questo si riveda il branobag sull’equilibrio, di lunedì della settimana scorsa)

Mi piacerebbe girare un film che fosse parallelo alla trama dei Blues Brothers, e raccontasse il punto di vista, ad esempio, della cuoca che viene lasciata in questa scena. Una volta passato lo sfogo, e meditato sul senso della missione che il marito andava a compiere, avrà avuto il coraggio di pensare a una riconciliazione, o avrà avuto il coraggio di perseverare in una separazione ?

Se tutte le parti in causa sono consapevoli dei cambiamenti che queste scelte possono portare, e hanno una base minima di rispetto reciproco, qualsiasi soluzione sarà accettabile. E magari si scoprirà che soluzioni che sulla carta sembrano catastrofiche, una volta messe in pratica determinano assetti e possibilità positive che non erano possibili prima (cfr. la collina dei ciliegi).

Se poi le canzoni e i film vi bastano come sottofondo leggero e intrattenimento, e non riuscite a sentirle come riflesso quotidiano della vostra esistenza, benissimo…ma ricordate che “si può fare di più” (cfr. Morandi Tozzi Ruggeri).
