This photo was taken around 9AM from a window at the Faculty of Engineering in Palermo, Sicily, shortly before the beginning of the Eighth Italiant GRASS User Meeting , where I gave a talk on GRASS: A Historical Perspective and Some Working Assumptions for its Development .

This picture was submitted to the Musicastrada photo contest and passed the qualification round. Eventually it didn’t win, but we got a cool disposable underwater camera as a reward.
