Come è già capitato in passato, nel giro di una settimana una riunione non occasionale fissata un mesetto fa ha preso forma di un evento che è parso interessante a quelli che ne hanno sentito parlare dal vivo: una sorta di “simposio” tra due musicisti di generazioni diverse, con il minimo comun denominatore di stare di base in una zona dove non è semplice fare musica (e nemmeno tante altre attività!).

L’appuntamento è per martedì 9 (domani: ma chi sta in zona è già stato preavvisato) e trovate la presentazione dell’evento in questa pagina.

Nel frattempo si preparano i bagagli per la prossima tournée, con date previste a:

Dieci anni fa, oggi

(per la musica: andare ogni settimana a vedere le hit parade di 10 anni fa non è così stimolante, ma mi piace ricordare che nel maggio 2014, in concomitanza con la trasferta di palla a 21 a Milano passava “Spread your Wings” dei Queen nei branobag)

Invece, per la cronaca decennale vera: il 4 maggio 2007 si era fatta la briscolata “pro Chicago” a Ciciano. Nel frattempo, si riceveva da Leigh Fagin del Department of Cultural Affairs lo schema di comunicato da utilizzare (secondo loro) per la promozione degli eventi che sarebbero entrati nel calendario estivo “The Art of Play”, e si ragionava dal testo da utilizzare per la palla a 21 e la briscola. Non ricordavo che ci fossero anche le opere di Nikki de Saint Phalle, più nota a latitudini maremmane per il giardino dei Tarocchi, qui intravisto in una foto sempre del maggio 2014:
