Presso la Biblioteca Comunale Gaetano Badii avremo tre minuti per presentare un libro che a noi e’ piaciuto tantissimo, e che da quasi cinque anni promuoviamo. Per sapere di che libro si tratta: venite a sentire. Il tutto nell’ambito della rassegna “Non ci resta che…leggere!”

The video was shown for the first time during the evening about mapp(ear)ing the upper half of the landscape on July 16, 2015.
At the end of the presentation, the two authors had the opportunity of taking some night shots and measurements of night sky quality, both in town (on the right a shot in the lawn in front of the Gaetano Badii library in Massa Marittima) as well as in the countryside (Agriturismo Tesorino, between Massa Marittima and Follonica) with a reading of 20.99 mag/arcsec^2 around midnight, and with the Milky Way well in sight.
The video proposes some of the images from the exhibition, with various types of postproduction.
The photo exhibition will be at the Chiostro di S. Agostino, in Massa Marittima, until August 9 2015.

Sotto, il video realizzato da Federico Giussani con alcuni degli scatti proposti nella mostra “…e quindi uscimmo a rivedere le stelle”, allestita al Toscana Foto Festival di Massa Marittima (GR).
Il video è stato mostrato per la prima volta durante la serata per m(‘)appare l’altra metà del paesaggio nell’ambito del Toscana Foto Festival, il 16-7-2015, con Andrea Giacomelli e Federico Giussani.
A fine serata, i presentatori hanno colto poi l’occasione per fare alcune foto e misure di qualità del cielo notturno, sia in città (a fianco uno scatto nel prato antistante la biblioteca G. Badii di Massa Marittima) che in campagna (Agriturismo Tesorino, in loc. Valpiana, registrando un 20.99 mag/arcsec^2 attorno alla mezzanotte, con presenza della Via Lattea).
Il video propone alcune delle immagini proposte nella mostra esposta al Festival (presso il Chiostro di S. Agostino, sino al 9 agosto), con varie elaborazioni.
La mostra “…e quindi uscimmo a riveder le stelle” rimarrà allestita sino al 9 agosto 2015.

A selection of twenty among the best shots between the almost 1000 submitted to the Between Dusk and Dawn photo contest organized by pibinko in 2010, was provided for ah exhibition in 2000, in the context of the 19th Toscana Foto Festival.
